So, I haven't written in a while again.  Life has been way too busy, trying to balance work, home, and babysitting the grandkids.

That's soon to change, as I'm going to try to be a stay at home Mom/Grandma for a while, and maybe find a way to make a little money from home.  I have a few ideas, including possibly being able to list things on E-bay for the place I currently work.

I really enjoy being able to help my kids out, and spending time with my grand-babies.As long as work stays busy for my husband and we budget carefully, we should be okay.

I am really hoping to start writing/blogging again on a regular basis.  I know that a lot of what I post on my Facebook page isn't reaching many of you, so I'm hoping to work on that.

Meanwhile, I'm curious, what do you like to read about?  If you subscribe to any blogs, what are your favorite topics, or what area of life do you need help in?  Parenting, Organizing, Marriage, Christian living, health?  Do you enjoy recipes?  How personal do you like it to be?

I find that marriage seems to be a topic that I enjoy writing about and want to use to help others.  Not that we have it all figured out.  On the contrary!  But I'd like to share what we've learned, our struggles, what we're still working on, etc...  The good, the bad, and the ugly.  Does that interest you?  Does that scare you?  Ha-ha!

I'd love to hear from you and find out how many of you are still out there, reading this.  Answer a few of my questions in the comments if you would be so kind, and let me know what your interests are.

Blessings!

  1. The blogs I subscribe to are varied, from home organization and living simply to gardening, people whose writing makes me laugh, and people I know and want to keep up with personally. Some days I like a quick something that gives me a smile ... some days I love to delve into a longer post that really makes me think. And that's how I tend to write, too: all over the place!
My suggestion would be for you to write whatever it is you are passionate about at that moment. Or, like happens in my house, when the kids say, "Mom, this would make a great blog post" ... make it one. :)

  3. I would love to hear about marriage. :) we have been going through a lot. My husband is getting a new job in NC (we are currently in NJ), but it is a year contract to hire so at the end of the year they may or may not hire him. He's going down there and our boys and I will stay here and travel back and forth. I have a good job here and our house. And I am going to homeschool the boys (pre-k and k5). Busy year!
